Seals of Hotepsekhemwy
Dynasty 2   (~ 2.500 BC)

When his tomb was found in 1902 the only remais were various seals. The red scepters (In Egyptian: "sekhem" meaning "rule" and "power") symbolised the Egyptian duality (geographicly and spiritualy) and were a main part of pharaoh's name, ruling (over the two countries).
