In 1998 the Russian Post Department commemorated the birth of engineer Michael Koshkin. He died already in 1940 at the age of 42 and was chief constructor of the best main battle
tank ever seen - the famous T-34.
It was the single weapon that turned the war in favour of the Soviet Union and by this contributed decisively to the victory of the Allied forces.
